His 'Chinese' accent though, sounds Viet! LoL.
He's from Toronto, so chances are he's heard more cantonese than mandarin. I do think Cantonese has much more tonal similarities to Vietnamese than it does to Mandarin. Although to my ears Vietnamese sounds even more should i say percussive then Cantonese.
