First Footage From Jackie Chan and Jet Li's Forbidden Kingdom
Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie! With fight choreography by The Matrix's Yuen Wo Ping and a story set in ancient China about the fabled Monkey King! What's not to love?
Well, judge for yourself with the very first footage from Rob Minkoff's upcoming fantasy/action mash-up, The Forbidden Kingdom.
In the 2008 release, all-American kung fu obsessive teen Jason (Michael Angarano), finds an antique Chinese staff which turns out to be the legendary weapon of the Monkey King. Finding himself unexpectedly transported back to ancient China, Jason teams up with drunken kung fu master Lu Yan (Jackie Chan) and the enigmatic Silent Monk (Jet Li) to embark on a quest to return the staff to its rightful owner.
Look for Forbidden Kingdom in theaters April 18, 2008.

Nah, not looking forward to this one at all. Everything about the preview looks been-there-done-that, and is definitely catered to a specific audience of which I'm not going to say. I've got a feeling its going to be a disappointment.
