I was there Saturday last week... My daughter and I have season tickets for the amusement park (Centreville) we're there pretty often...

and because we're their often, we don't spend the whole day there... not like if you buy a day pass you want to try everything... so we're usually walking around the island as well...
Last Saturday, we ended up going to mountain equipment Co-op after the island - I love that place... bought a back pack and sunglasses for my daughter and I picked up a pretty cool organic cotton T-Shirt...

Only STUPID and IGNORANT people find me offensive!

We walked around most of the main island area and spend most of the day there and made it as far west the lighthouse, and definitely did walk about the Amusement park area at some point. But we were there I think on Monday.

lol.. it's mostly white... and I see more east asian's in terms of visible minorities...

But they do have a lot of different cultural events going on... so sometimes it depends on what's happening on the island...

The Dragon Boat races are held on the island and last year when my daughter and I went, it was mostly a Chinese crowd...

There is also the Virgin Festival coming up in the summer you might be interested...

I think I mentioned to CoCo in chat about our daughters having a play date on the island...

Maybe a TO Island Picnic gathering is in order... I'll bring the Corean BBQ...

I saw three AM/WF couples today

one in a dimsum place, with a blonde roundish girl and a guy with a shaved head.

When we had had dimsum and were heading to Pacific Mall to buy some stuff, I saw a middle-aged couple. The woman wore sunglasses, but she looked white to me. Blonde hair, and they both were roundish. Asian women are rarely that round and blonde.

When we after that headed to Scarborough centre for coffee & shopping, while sitting at Timothy's for mochas, a South East Asian guy and a white girl walked by us. I didn't notice the couple first, but Ratbert did.
