This is a silly question.
No matter what 'metro' you are in... the confident guy that steps up will get the girls.
I dont think that is always true with, I seen this short latin guy in my class who probably 5' 5" to 5' 3" who was boiling with confidence that ask women to "study" with him and all the women in math class turn him down. Of course confidence would help though

If you have any of these following items, you will get girls no matter where you are airlifted and dropped off, provided there are live females in the area.
Not in any special order:
*Game- It stays witcha!
* Looks- You don't have to be blindingly handsome, just don't be the Hunchback of Notre Dame
* Money- just don't get played for a foo!
* Confidence- how could it hurt?
* Track Record- it's a fact that the higher your body count, girls become easier and easier to navigate. The first 35 are prolly the toughest. After that they'll be gushing like 3 Gorges, Dammm!
* Sex Appeal- This goes hand in hand with a combo of any of two or three of the above items.
So if you have any one of these items, you will get girls. The more items you have the more girls you will be successful with. Girls will be practically throwing themselves atcha!

Yeah true, but I am sure he is much more successful than an average or above average looking guy who won't approach any girls at all.
True - but that's a whole nother issue.
Tho, I'm not so sure about "above avg. looking guys" who won't/don't approach girls (esp. if they are considerably above avg.), since, usually, there are enough girls who approach them.
L.A. isn't that bad, guys. I'm sure there are some horror stories. You just have to have the right confidence level. Actually, since there are so many "beautiful people"; a lot of girls go through their faze of waiters/actors/model dudes who can't make the rent, and then they move on...That's when they discover what's best for them.
Yes, it helps if you're in the right industry, because there is an opportunity to meet a lot of girls. (IE: Advertising/Movie/TV/Radio/PR)
I know some girls who are very attractive, who get frustrated w/L.A. guys too, they're paranoid because there's so many other attractive women out there as well. It's a crazy town.
I live in both the SF Bay Area, and L.A., and I think L.A. is actually better for dating, believe it or not--Perhaps there's just more people in L.A...You have to know the L.A. game, also..."Let's get together and do Lunch", doesn't mean you're going to do lunch. "Call Me", may mean that she wants you to call, maybe it doesn't! It's a game, it takes years to figure out!
