A little off-topic, but what the hey.....I've only been to two hockey games in my life. The first time I went, which was about five years ago, I knew nothing of the game except the goal of the game is to score more pucks in the net than your opponent. Okay, so the first period ends and I'm thinking, "Boy, that was a short first half". Then my husband explained there are three periods in a game. Well, when the players left the ice, I turned around to talk with some friends, but when I turned back around there were all these miniature hockey players coming on the ice, and I swear, my first gut reaction was, they shrunk the players!
WTH! Then I realized it was the local little league coming on for entertainment during the break! I laughed and laughed at myself....hahaha. Those little guys were cute as a bug's ear! I just wanted to snarf them up and give'em kisses....hehehehe
