Industrially raffinated sugar isn't exactly healthy... The best drink is water, but if I have to choose between sugar that gives people obesity, greater risk of getting a diabetes and stings in energy level, and aspartame, I choose the latter. Not that I would take huge amounts of it as it is not exactly pure vitamines, but when I fancy something else than water...

Now that I am in North America, there are less choices for having non-sugary groceries and I have to choose carefully what I have.
Two good natural flavor-givers are berries and lemon juice. Cassis juice is really yummy and rich in vitamin. I have some in my fridge now!

But it does have that devilish sugar... Hmm. Better not have too much of it...
Some things that North America wouldn't need, IMO:
*sugary ice cream cones
*the big pop mugs in McD's
*KFC
But I have to give props for having huge and cheap salad boxes in grocery stores. Finns would KILL for getting 5 litres of organic salad for 5 dollars like we do here in Canada. Canadians have all the means for eating healthy and delicious food here... But going to McD's is still so easy for many
P.S. I still have never been to KFC.
