So I was watching the news and saw Obama's sister helping him campaign in Hawaii. I guess Obama's mom was an AznLover since her second husband was Indonesian. His sister identifies herself as being HAPA and her husband is Canadian Chinese.

I just realized, that if Obama becomes president. This would be the first time that Asians or Asian-Americans, would have a familial connection to the President of the United States. Hopefully, making a difference for Asian-Americans... especially for the folks of Hawaii, his home state.

Although I was supportive of Obama before I learned of his Asian connection... How does this make you feel about Obama? Do you endorse McCain, Clinton, Obama, or HuckabEE?

Last time I checked, Barrack Obama was not Condoleeza Rice.

It's a blessing in his familial background because he understands the plight of many minorities other than his own. He has a "colorful" background to draw from other than just a white one.

I am not saying he will or should do anything for the minorities in this country, but that he, at least, is a step in the right direction just based on his own ethnicities, his family and his experiences as such.

McCain still has my vote.
