Two years ago I went to both Vancouver and Toronto and loved both places. I didn't check out the night life, because I'm not into the club scene. But, I want to go visit either place or Ottawa. Does anyone have recommendations for a night spot that has:
Great music and even some dancing, yet has a mature crowd (30+)
I don't like clubbing either, but was hoping for more of a "lounge-like" ambiance. I think they afford more opportunity for interaction. We have some lounges in DC, which differ from the clubs in that they offer a lot more seating areas. But, then again, that's not necessarily true, now that I think of it. I will do some more research, I guess, starting with Devil's Martini's website (if they have one). Thanks!
awe, I loved Vancouver!! That was such a wonderful place. My boyfriend and I are going to visit there again shortly before we head off to Asia to visit the place where his parents grew up in the Philippines. I hear Ottowa is just as nice. Unfortunately, I've never been there myself but they say the scene is wonderful. I hope you have a great time and please keep us posted of your journey!
