Thanks Teri. Wow, I feel like I have connections to royalty given that Mr. Nishikawa had uncles in the 100th/442nd. It really is a small world sometimes. I'm looking forward to getting the DVD and watching it.
It's a shame it was not widely distributed and seen by more people. I wonder if it could eventually be shown to high school students to teach them about Japanese-American presence in the war and the great successes they achieved.
If you talk to your friends, Mr. Nishikawa and Mr. Hayashi, please tell them, "Thank you", for being so passionate about the story and making the film.
