Bruce Lee's shocking death left legions of stunned fans and a legacy of 12 minutes from his unfinished Game Of Death.
Undeterred, studio executives launched a search for his replacement chronicled here through the eyes of five aspiring thespians
who find out what the real game is.
Who saw this ? It's been out in NY theaters for a while. I actually got to see it, and it definitly is a keeper, Sung Kang and Roger Fan both play their respective characters very convincely, and while Roger Fan does a great job of playing that smug asswipe with the stupid looking grin, Sung Kang actually did quite the departure from his usually badass cool calm and collected persona, and he did it very well, by portraying a very wide eyed naive actor.
There is alot more to the film then Sung Kang and Roger Fan though, the whole movie in general is really funny, alot of great insightful honest and funny scene's throughout the whole piece, if it's playing in your area, you should check it out, and also I think some selected cable service carriers might have this on their PPV listings.
Here is the website with the listing's for the movie.
Saw it a couple of months ago at the Asian Film Fest in Dallas. You're right, this is a total departure for Sung Kang, and apparently he really enjoyed it, he said if he loved doing comedies. But, I will watch him in anything he does.
