interesting... i wonder how the American public would feel about Pearl Harbor (or a situation like it) if the nations were reversed or somehow disquised. Personally I think the Japanese did nothing wrong or dishonorable (like Pearl Harbor raid is always referred to as a sneak attack). I mean come on, when you attack someone in war, what idiot warns the opponent? Ok ok, I know the declaration of war was slightly mistimed. But seriously the U.S. had an embargo on Japan and WW2 was already raging in Europe (and Asian for the Asians and British Empire). The American generally would be incompetant to have not expected something.

We need more movies like this that portray the humanistic side of those Japanese Soldiers.
For the German soldiers they have the movie called Stalingrad (both the remake and the 1950s version). It portrays the German soldiers as humans, instead of the fanatic growling beasts as portrayed in the US media.
Of course here in the US people here will play up the Pearl Harbor attack as "sneaky" and dishonorable and stuff like that. We're in America after all. Not really surprising. That's like you telling other people you're a bad guy. LOL
Ok, so whats the real story about Pearl Harbor as opposed to the official story? Did the US have an embargo or a blockade? A blockade is considered an act of war. I've also read conflicting accounts about the timing of the declaration of war. And also, how is a sneak attack any more immoral than covert actions in foreign nations?
