I'll warn you all before you go on to read this, I'm ranting!!

So this whole thing with the poor little girl, Madeleine McCann - who is missing. Only my family and close friends know my opinion on this matter, due to the fact they were they when I...I don't know...exploded? It seriously p*sses me off!! They HAD the option and WAS offered it, for their children to be looked after within their hotel by trained, respectable and safe employees! Yet, they DECLINED from such a service. And what for? To go and STUFF THEIR FACES with food OUTSIDE of their damn hotel room - leaving twin two year olds and a small three year old girl! WHERE THE HELL ARE THEIR FREAKING HEADS!!!!??? I'm sorry, but my opinion of them totally stink! They were so far up their own damn arses, the poor INNOCENT little girl is suffering now!

I feel so terribly sorry for that poor, little, innocent girl. I think whatever she is going through is beyond words! I don't think my heart can reach out further enough for her. Don't get me wrong on that! She DOES NOT deserve any of this! But the parents? They're supposed to be doctors for Pete's sake!! They of all people should know better. But it seems having a slap up meal in some place is more important than the care and safety of their children!!

Another thing which totally p*sses me off! Hundreds and thousands of DEVOTED Roman Catholics, who live their life for nothing more than to be within any sort of close distance with the Pope. Who probably never get the chance! Yet these two stuck up idiots, who neglect their children, get a bloody audience with him! VIP one at that!!!

This whole thing, I swear seriously makes my blood boil through the roof! I have NO sympathy for the so called parents!! They are getting what THEY deserve in my opinion. My heart bleeds for the girl though.

I totally Agree Larissa ! I am going to have to join you in your rant ! We have been getting even more coverage of this story because they're actually from very close to where I live in fact my friend works with someone who is a close friend of the family . And it winds me up no end .


I mean no parent deserves to have something so horrific happen to them there's no justice in an act like this . But they do deserve to carry the guilt of what has happened - I can't see any reason at all why they would CHOOSE to take such a risk .


But what annoys me more than anything is the huge amount of sympathy and support they are getting - which i think is entirely socially biased - just because they are basically middle class - just because they are a doctor and a radiographer . it all aww poor unfortunate them how unlucky . when if they had been working class - less educated individuals they would have been condemned and publicly flamed . Well you know what that's bull crap exactly they are supposed to be educated they should know better all the academic degrees and qualifications in the world doesn't mean your qualified to be a good parent ! They failed on the most basic level to protect and watch over child little more than a baby - its just a shame they were able to breed at all .

I agree entirely as well. I'm sick and tired about how people are simply brainwashed by the media. People don't want to say it, because it would mean getting off the massive bandwagon that has been built up.

Some of my friends just don't get it, however much I rant.

Don't get me wrong, I feel very bad for the parents. But, I would not even leave my wallet in a hotel room unsupervised, so to leave kiddies is pretty irresponsible.

I certainly wish that she returns home healthy.

My mate has been going on about this for yonks now, and totally reckons that the father killed her! I wouldnt put it passed him, cos notice hes the one that says it all, while dear mother dare not look him in the eye for fear of it! Fucking seeing the pope my arse!! I agree with you, and I am totally sick of this issue to be honest. It's overhyped. It's been treated as if the outcome of this case can blow up the whole world. Kids go missing all the time, so I see no reason why this particular case is talked about so much.

It's absurd for parents to leave their little children on their own in the middle of the night in a strange country and going out for meals or drinks or whatever. It is too selfish and unloving. They should've been charged for child abuse in the first place.
