Ive not seen them yet! But if the new £20 is anything to go by then i can only imagine the new coins will look just as bad! I wonder who designs these things?

great the children i work with will never understand money with it changing design! no hope
no exact time when there be in circulation they say
maybe have one in my purse sometime soon then...
I am actually not surprised on that, as this is actually the first design change since "Decimal Day" almost 40 years ago.
Mind you, the children probably never heard of old money terms based on the £sd system, even though they might still hear things like bob (which is equal to 5p)

I like them I was a bit surprised that so many people I spoke with about this didn't realise that the smaller denominations make up the image on the squid.
