Have any of you seen the new coins in circulation?
I heard that they are releasing the new design coins at some point this year. Has anyone come across these in circulation yet?

Ive not seen them yet! But if the new £20 is anything to go by then i can only imagine the new coins will look just as bad! I wonder who designs these things?

I am actually not surprised on that, as this is actually the first design change since "Decimal Day" almost 40 years ago.

Mind you, the children probably never heard of old money terms based on the £sd system, even though they might still hear things like bob (which is equal to 5p)
