Peeps, I'm planning to go to Manchester later this year, in the October-November time frame. I have about two weeks in total, three days minimum in Manchester, the rest is up to me. Since the dollars they give me for my hard work is barely worth the toilet paper they can buy, I'd have to be somewhat frugal.

I want to go to Dublin, but that may not be frugal as I do have to go back to Heathrow eventually. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should set up my itinerary?

I'm interested in English and Irish history, but a trip to the wilderness can also get my arse off the bed.
