I know many old Chinese who were sailors jumped ships to stay in UK had married British women. But today there are very few young guys do so. At least none of my friends has white partner. Those have are usually the BBC. Is it strange? Or there are some other reasons?

Back then, the Asians had no options other than PU local women.
Now, they can find Asian girls anywhere, which take much less effort to PU than Non-AFs.
Most FOBs I know...hang out with Asians only
i asked them why...some said that language is the barrier while others think there's too much cultural difference..
but is it really about cultural difference? I thought the west and east accepts each other's culture with open arms nowadays..
i think it's down to Asian parents' pressure on their sons...

the yellow peeps should be allowed to hang with who they want. Freedom of association right?!
I don't think its strange I think its just common to see BBC's with other BBC's, most of my Chinese friends have 2 friendship groups- Chinese and other.
And they hardly bring those 2 groups together, I remember asking why and my friend told me some of her other Chinese friends say that her "other" friends are a bad influence on her plus its easier to find things in common with one another, not to generalise or anything but some 1st generation BBC's tend to hold racist views usually encouraged by their parents, I mean why bring them to England in the first place if you don't want them to associate with other cultures.

I did my A-level in the UK. During one half-term, I stayed with an owner of a Chinese restaurant in South London. His chef was a FOB from HK. He didn't have any fancy college degree, but he married an Irish woman when she was 18 and he 32.
