For anyone living in London do you think there are too many immigrants in the UK?
Personally I think there is, I can't remember the numbers but it seems that different sources are quoting unnofficial results. The government did give an estimate about illegal immigrants, the home office said there were over 500'000 in the UK and surprisingly enough they had last track on were they actually are.
I disgressed a bit, even when the immigrants are legal theres far too many entering the country, seriously even 10 years ago you wouldn't of seen that many Eastern European people in London but as soon they started all of this European Union/Euro currency rubbish its as if the floodgates have been open.
I don't have anything against any Eastern Europeans, I'm just using the situation as an example, even many settled immigrants who have been here for over 20 years are unhappy about our problem.
Without immigrants, the UK and many other western nations would cease to function.

True. But theres too many of them in the UK and the government have lost control over who's coming in. Its ridiculous. No wonder so many White British people have been voting for the BNP because there so pissed off with Tony Blair and Labour as a whole.
My place has changed dramatically over the past few years...
15 years ago..my place was mostly British Whites...
now it's like..80% Indians, Pakistanis at where I live...and some Asian families have around 4+ kids..and possibly still going...0.o
...most recently, Eastern Europeans and Mainland Chinese have also moved in.
My neighbour got robbed by 2 young Eastern Europeans last month...
This country needs to do something about asylum seekers and refugees too...we are letting far too much in...
nevertheless...Blair should step down for the good of his people..
not because his popularity is in shambles...but that he should be responsible for what he has done to Iraq and for taking this country to an unneccesary war!!!
Note: if you think this country's leader is bad enough...go look @ Taiwan's..if you know what's going on there...your blood pressure will rise guaranteed...
how well do the immigrants from eastern europe and asia adjust to british life? or is it like california where they form enclaves and dont really mix at all?

Incidentally, those illegal immigrants are the backbone of the US, if they are gone, trust me, companies will go outta business cuz they can't afford a $20/hr cleaner, cooks, painters, construction workers.

Problem is, when you don't do the gruntwork yourself, that creates social & racial class warfare problems down the line. Basically, this same argument was made to justify slavery here - and look how we are all still suffering the aftershocks of that - and will for generations.
There's actually a lot of teens who will do gruntwork, btw.
