Maybe that's one of the reasons.
As a person who wished to be married but actually got one divorce already I can only speak from my own experiences here, some people are living in wonderland nowadays.
Like my ex who would waste money until I couldn't live with him anymore, I later was and still am BANKRUPT.
One day I decided to let him go because I just couldn't figure out a way to remind him on common responsibilities and avoid that he would spend our very last money for silly stuff we couldn't eat (CDs, technical devices, some we never used, no joke).
It is indeed hard to find a responsible person who isn't out for the quick fun nowadays.
It's true, marriage is no ever-happy-hollywood-flic.
Both peole have to carry some of the burdens of life, otherwise it won't work, but modern people are sometimes too spoiled and unrealistic for that.
