Do university grads have good opportunities of getting jobs there?

Do employers value a university education at all?

Do azns have disadvantage in getting jobs compare to whites on same education level?

In my experience the opportunities are good here for jobs -- as long as what you as your chosen career is in demand.

I certainly, can't do what I'm doing without my degree.

I have never lost out on a job due to my skin colour.

mind you, I live in London -- things MIGHT not be the same else where in uk.

another question would you say its more expensive to go to school out here in the UK? How does it compare to the states? I hear the years are shorter

I heard from my Prof. that a British education is valued more amongst schools than an American one.

I can't speak for myself but competition is so hard out there thats why I'm transfering either to Oxford next year (it's a shame you can't apply for both Oxford and Cambridge on your UCAST form) I'm going to continue my studies even further and I know it will be worth while in the end.

In the U.S kids finish high school at 18 right? In England we finish at 16 and either go to 6th form or college. I went to Kings college as soon as I finished Secondary school.

even non uni grads get good jobs. employers care more about experience than education. alot of the asians in uk own businesses. ive seen many stereo shops owned by asians. they also have alot of kebab shops. but they dont play football!

It's very easy to find a job if you've studied something like chamical engineering, architecture, math, accounting, etc. A degree like, for example, BA in media studies, won't get you anywhere but a kebab takeaway.
