TSA, Sacramento Airport
So I did end up taking the job at TSA because the restaurant job fell through. They just took to long getting back to me, and no amount of calling them was enough. But all has worked out. I'm actually enjoying myself. It's not easy work, and I have to be ready for anything and everything at the drop of a dime.
I had my first angry passenger. She got all pissy because I had to check her bag. Well, thats what she gets for bringing liquids larger than 3.4oz on the plane. She actually started cussing at me. Oh well. Follow the damn rules, they're actually in place for your safety. Or would you like another Sept. 11th?
This job also supplies me with an abundance of eye candy of all races. I sincerely hope the cameras don't catch me checking out passengers... And speaking of guys, I saw some giant Asian guys come through. A handful of them were 6 feet and up. My immediate response was "The fuck...?" Very interesting.
Moments like these are why I'm going to enjoy my job.
Child Attendant, Gold's Gym
They gave me more hours for the next two weeks. I'll be working 7 days a week. Three days at the gym on my days off. Although it seems excessive, this job is really easy. And I only work 6 hours. I got off at three and I have so much to do with my day. And I'm taking advantage of relaxing too. I played some Guitar Hero and I'm blogging! I can't complain, even if I have two jobs.
Males/Dating
So clearly I have no time for males and dating, which is okay with me. I'll get a little lonely every now and then, I'm sure. Yet, when I think about the drama, the dishonesty, and the games I tend to get from most guys, I don't mind at all not associating with them in anyway. I guess I need a little more time to feel less like a dumb ass/fool after the "relationship" with the last guy.
Adulthood
With two jobs, it's time of course to take on adult responsibilities again. Now that my vacation/study abroad in Japan and my unemployment are over and done with, I want to be an adult again. So me and my best friend are moving out together. We actually turned in an application to a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment just today. No more living off my aunt, having my mom help me pay my bills. I'm a grown ass woman, and it's time I start behaving like one.
So that is me today. A little tired, achy body, but all in all, I'm content. And excited. Things are looking up.
