Today was one of those rare days where I'm struck by just how awesome Sacramento really is, and why I will forever be glad that I grew up here. Some will say Sac is boring, but I think that's another way of saying you're a boring person. You can have fun anywhere you go if you're with the right people and in the right state of mind. I'm having one of those moments where I have the desire to just say the most vile things to and about people. Yet, being the uber nice person that I am, I bite my tongue. I don't have the right to say inappropriate, mean things to people due to my inability to handle a situation.

My friend Tran hit me up on Friday about going with her to her friend's birthday bash in SF. I haven't seen her, or the group of people who were steadily becoming my friends as well, in a while so I decided to go ahead and make the trip. Sometime last week I discovered that two kids that come into Gold's Gym Kids Club speak fluent Japanese. The entire time I was at work, I eavesdropped in on their conversation. Thursday, June 12th:
What should have been simply picking up the 15 passenger rental van turned into an impromptu shopping excursion with my mother. This happens on occasion. I ended up buying several pairs of sandals at Old Navy. We also went to Wal Mart for stuff to decorate the van, and to the grocery store for food for the long drive to So Cal.
