My friend Tran hit me up on Friday about going with her to her friend's birthday bash in SF. I haven't seen her, or the group of people who were steadily becoming my friends as well, in a while so I decided to go ahead and make the trip. I also had just gotten paid so that was a definite plus for going.

Here's a funny thing that happened to me at work this past weekend; the hospital was full and there were people everywhere.
I was waiting for the elevator with my boss.
There was a lady with a cute little girl of maybe 4 sitting nearby. The little girl jumps out of the stroller, runs up to me, hugs my leg and screams "Papi, Papi"!!
I smile at her, shake my head and as gently as I could, said, "No, I am sorry ... " but to no avail; she is beginning to lose...

Last night, after putting my daughter to bed, I proceeded down stairs and took her bike out...
We had discussed earlier yesterday, after a bike ride in the park about taking her training wheels off, she was excited about the prospect of learning to ride with out the training wheels...
