The mixed blessings of technology.

I had been avoiding Skype for a while, even though I had installed it on my work laptop.

I had to support a client in China, which meant I had to call him at 8:30pm my time.

I don't have international calling on my land line or cell. The client's corporate office couldn't seem to make international calls. So I resorted to Skype and spent the next 1 1/2 hours fixing Windows Vista.

Yep, today I made myself feel as smart as a peanut while pulling out from where I park at my house.. I was pulling out and I looked up and there was no one there and so I looked down, no one there either, and I started to pull out while still looking down and then I hear this crunch of gravel behind me and before my brain realized what it was, "BAM!" I hit one of my neighbors while backing out. She didn't have insurance.. or a horn to honk at me and warn me... Yep, I felt REAL smart......
