Last night I went out with my best friend and soon to be roommate, Ash. We met up with a guy she had previously been involved with a couple months ago and a friend of his at a pub in downtown Sac. I was excited about it, if only to see another faucet of Sacramento night life. Having already Matt before and some of his friends, I expected that like the others, the friend that was with him wouldn't be my type.

The Year of the Rat, 2008, is suppose to be particularly auspicious for those who are rodents. Well, let me tell you, it has been a helluva year...but not necessarily the luckiest. I mean, don't get me wrong, all in all some great things have happened to me. I got into the university of my choice, I rid myself of some unhealthy relationships, got a new apartment with nice roommates, AND have been working on my own self esteem.

But the negative....somewhat, still has left its toll....

I went to Chinese food with my best friend today. Now I'm not superstitious per se, but I do enjoy reading my fortune cookies and will occasionally chuckle over my daily horoscope in the newspaper and stuff. From time to time they are close enough to life to make me pause and think about it.

So today my cookie said "You will overcome many great obstacles". I actually started crying, LOL I have many great obstacles to overcome... I guess I needed to hear a little bit...

I hate it when ive lost something, something of very little meaning to others, but something of vast importance to me... Dont you?
I dont like having a sore head, caused of course by my mind over-thinking about where the fuck i last had whatever it was id lost!
