I'm taking one today.
For about 2 months now I've had an insane amount of things happen. My position was switched from belts to small leather goods. I still haven't gotten the raise I asked for and deserve. The assistant designer from SLG's was fired and now I have her position but not the pay or the title. I had to put my application in with the company like anyone else would. I've been thrown the ENTIRE Junior's line which doesn't even exist!!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FUCKING PRESSURE THAT IS TO CREATE A LINE TO PRESENT TO THE CEO ON 11/18!!!! >>shits on self!<<
Opportunity of a small lifetime but damn the pressure is kill.
Anyways..........so I have a love interest. Yes, it's true, I'm taken. At 11am I leave work and head to DFW where I will leave my car and take the shuttle to the airline I'm taking. At 2pm I will proceed to fly to Chicago where my layover is. 8:15 tonight I walk off the plane into a country I've never been but at least they speak English. Or a version of it.
I'm investing in this person in many different ways in hopes that we can build a future together. And I believe we can. I believe in him.
Some people take chances on life through the stock market, risky business deals, extreme sports and exaggerated drug use. In stead of jumping out of a plane I'm going to walk off one as a major step in reaching my goals. This person can help me achieve all 3. =3
The first 5 minutes of seeing him, the 10 days with him and the horrid last day of leaving him is all I can think about.

I have a lot to clear off my plate before 11am rolls around and its half way to 9 so I shall leave you all. Have a HAPPIEST OF HALLOWEEN'S AL!!!

Only those that take chances will ever find what they're looking for. I took a chance on meeting my husband in downtown Chinatown at 10:00 p.m. after chatting with him for two hours for the first time that night. It all worked out.
About Chicago--If you happen to go to Chinatown, then go to the Triple Crown, 211 W 22nd Pl, Chicago, IL 60616, (312) 791-0788 . It's in the older section, down a sidestreet and upstairs. I liked their smelt and squid. It's more authentic than many of the Chinese restaurants there. It looks like a dive, but it has very good food. Here's a page online about it.
