I use to get sinus infections all the time too. I started taking pseudoephedrine and benedryl every day when the seasons change to ward it off now. If I feel it coming on again, I start it up again before it gets to the point where I get infection. Once you get rid of this one, you can look up some more natural ways to keep from getting sinus infections. It's scarry with the antibiotic resistant illnesses going around. Ditto on going to the doc tomorrow. When you see the doc ask how you can prevent sinus infections in the future like using a sinus rinse daily, etc. Hope the doc fixes you up and you feel better by this time tomorrow.

You know your body better than anyone else. If you feel like there's something wrong then trust your intuition and get into the clinic. Tell the doctor about your feelings when it comes to taking antibiotics. If he's sure that they're necessary then he'll push the topic. My doctor actually is very reluctant to give antibiotics for the reasons you've listed. It will all work out! Feel better soon!

You need to get checked for Pneumonia. Anytime you're coughing up blood or having blood come out of any orifice in your body is not a good sign. Go get it checked ASAP! The longer you wait the worst it might get.

expelling green mucus from a sinus infection is not unusual, same goes for coughing up green phlegm, however blood is alarming so you should see a doctor.

The Bible (and I guess we're talking about the Protestant canon, here) is a remarkable document. For those who want to live by its every word, getting the right translation is important. I think it's misguided, however, when you get into which translation is authoritative or, heaven forbid, more "Christian."

Most of the common translations in circulation today were produced through scholarship and careful consideration. As one of the commenters above mentioned, the text was originally in Hebrew/Aramaic and Greek with some of the stories circulated through an oral tradition before being put in written form. I don't think the scholars of the King James era had a better handle on those ancient languages. A lot is lost in the transitions of languages, cultures, and time. With the KJV, you have to additionally comprehend the diction and syntax of the King's English to understand the text. An extra layer of distance from the original source.

The closest we can get to the originals are those books published in the Greek and Hebrew languages. And even then, you have to consider how identical the surviving versions are to the very first originals. The epithets fly when you get into that debate.

I think these 2 pretty young ladies need to speak English to each other in the class hall. When they spoke a different language, they lowered their voice trying not to disturb others.

But that only made it worse. The class really felt like a family relaxing after some harvest. When they lowered their voice, it almost made it feel like we didn't consider their presence.

Maybe next time I will ask them to repeat what they just said to each other but in English. Maybe it will show that we are interested in them.
