School Chronicles Part 1: Back in the Fray Prelude

I moved back into school last last week and it was a time of both giving and gaining. I had to give up my fair city of Chicago and gain a small town in West Michigan. Yeah, back to the boondocks I go.
Wednesday: Moving in day. My roommates got there before I did, and so I ended up getting the top bunk. Luckily, this time, the bed wasn't that high, so I don't have to fear. Moved in, got my key and got reacquainted with the campus that I left 4 months ago. Later that night, I got to see Faletta and Desya for the first time in 4 months. 2 states separated us then, now, only a 30 second walk.
Thursday: Went over to Fi and D's once again. Met their roommates, sweet young freshmen. Flirted with a guy on the bus. Forgot to get his number.....
Got to go to Applebees and pigged out. I swear I felt fat as hell, but eh, it was a back to school thang, why not?? Went to Meijer Madness, which was COMPLETELY INSANE. Made a music video.....lmao. Almost hit 2 baby deer coming back. Ended up spending the night over there after watching "Why Did I Get Married?" the play (which was so much funnier than the movie IMO)
Friday: Bought $300 bucks worth of books, which surprised the hell outta me cus I thought they would be like $600. Surveyed the upgraded campus, helped out a freshman with directions, and then laughed at his innocence.....we were a mess. Went to a party and sweated my relaxer out......damn......that was $60.......
Almost ran into a skunk.....it was roadkill, but still....scared the shit outta me 
. Watched "Dirty Dancing" at Fi's place AGAIN. I am now the 5th roommate there...lol
Saturday: Played pool with the crew, wandered, went to eat, wandered again, then back to more movies... Then Guitar Hero...got woken up by the cops across the hall....yeah, back to sleep.
Sunday: Taught Fi and D how to play Guitar Hero, and got them addicted. Went to play more pool. Saw a baby bird almost hop into the middle of the street and Faletta and Desya literally stopped traffic to save it. We ended up picking it up with a plate and setting it safely down....what is up with nature following us??? Wandered, and then saw the guy I flirted with on the bus on Thursday. Got his numba
Wandered even more, then finally went home to prepare for the week ahead.

I felt bad after laughing at him but it was funny as hell. At least your hair did not turn into a poof like mine did (I had a wash and spirals in). The cars as they drove past look at us like we were stupid. The bird was so cute and it still had it's down feathers.
