Hello AL members, how are you all doing? After much thought, I have decided to leave aznlover for awhile. The reason is because at this point in my life, I have decided that my career is my first priority in life, and that I need to devote the vast majority of my time to my medical studies.
This has been a WONDERFUL site, and I have met some nice people and made some great friends. It was entertaining, and provided a nice medium for the exchange of ideas and different points of views on...

yep.....another one of those nights...
this isn't the first time that I blogged regarding this...
I guess just too much on my mind...what if this...what if that....what if I can't...what if I'm not good enough...have I wasted 33 years of my life...am I doing the right thing...etc, etc...plus my boards are gonna be in the coming spring...what if I don't pass...What if I don't complete my medical training...

so instead of trying to sleep, I just get up and log onto good...

that's right, it happens to the best of us :)....have noticed it occuring for the past few days...don't know exactly why....having trouble falling asleep, but once I'm asleep, will need an alarm to wake me.... well, it's ok...just have some stuff on my mind... gotta get up early in a few hours, so might as well try to catch some Z's....although they say the harder one tries, the harder it is to fall asleep....so maybe I'll count sheep, or count dogs..... :biglaugh: whatever.....

Just thought I'd share this little interesting thing I heard a doc say today while working in his office. He says that we have medicines today that target and prevent only a specific disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. etc.. but he states that there is actually a "poly-pill" that's been around that will prevent ALL the diseases: high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attacks, high choesterol, stroke, cancer, etc.. I start my medicine transition program tomorrow morning. I am supposed to follow a cardiologist around and help him, learn from him. Don't know what he's like, don't know what he expects, what he wants....even though I'll figure out in time and will work hard, still, I'm just nervous. I hope he's easy to get along with. I'll need some strong and updated letters of recommendation from attending physicians going into the match.

So I have moved here to Las Vegas from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and have been here for 3+ weeks. Right now I am taking a break from studying and thought, why not have a look on my fav website aznlover and post a blog? (my first internet blog, btw).
