So there was a bonfire today.
I didn't get off work til 10.
I headed up at 10.30 after picking up a couple buddies and we got a wood pallet and strapped it to the top of my car.
I called them at 10.10 or so and said we're leave to frisco to kick it and cruise.
THe AL meet got broken up and they went to a bar, we were already on the road and instead of turning around and driving 20min we drove the other 30min to the city.
The weather was great nice and cool w/ a slight breeze, nice weather to walk around in shorts and sweater.
THey decided to get hungry. SO we drove around looking for a place to eat and came across a sweet chowder place along fishermans' wharf. IT was pretty good, kinda pricey but it really hit the spot at 12:30 in the am. So we continued our journey (I forgot to mention we ditched the pallet after they called us and said the bonfire was pau) and ended up driving by a bunch of clubs all the way along the wharf and the backside. Ended up driving on broadway where all the strip clubs were. That was a pretty crazy drive.
Just got home and i'm exhausted. i get to wake up in a couple hours.... WOohooo.
Reflection... I don't think i pick on my friends that are in relationships, i'm really happy for them, i think I pick at the fact that I have an inability to connect with the opposite sex in a deep and meaningful and lasting way.
I don't need a woman to make me happy, but i'd like make a woman happy and in turn have that feelin reciprocated. So until I can meet a woman that I can sweep off her feet (or she makes me go head over heels) i'll bombard myself with trival things to occupy my time (school, cars, family stuff, biking, running, swimming [as soon as i can do so alot better] and all those kine of little things that are available to everyone).
