This week has been an interesting one for me.

Friday afternoon I went by my local dive shop to pick up my scuba tank. I was informed that someone I had dove with recently passed away from a heart attack. I didn't know this person well, but I had just dove with him as part of a group the weekend before.

Today (11/15) I went to a popular dive site where classes take their first ocean dives. I made a couple of dives in the morning. I went to lunch before meeting my group...

You think I would know better by now...

Friday afternoon, I decided to leave work early to go work out. I have a nice workout and get home to prepare for my dive and the bonfire.

Turn the clock forward to the bonfire at 9:47pm. I have a nice room at the Hlton with plans to enjoy SF on Sunday. I'm at the bonfire with some nice people and ready for a drink.

Guess what happens? My boss calls and one of our clients is having issues. So after the bonfire gets...

Okay... I had another "D'oh" moment today.

Not only did I post a thread that was obviously asked before, but now I just realized that the Member Albums are completely separate from Photo Gallery.

I was thinking back to the meet this past Saturday. Some one mentioned that they wanted to learn to scuba dive but wasn't sure about it.

The mixed blessings of technology.

I had been avoiding Skype for a while, even though I had installed it on my work laptop.

I had to support a client in China, which meant I had to call him at 8:30pm my time.

I don't have international calling on my land line or cell. The client's corporate office couldn't seem to make international calls. So I resorted to Skype and spent the next 1 1/2 hours fixing Windows Vista.

I was watching a documentary this evening that got me thinking about what beauty is and where you find it.

One of the things you commonly hear on AZNLover is the ladies' preference/passion for Asian men. It was while watching this documentary that I understood that a little better.
