Ive got em! What's weird about it is that tomorrow is a holiday! I shouldn't have them. I feel just well...low and melancholy. It's weird to be in the same house with your ex bf and not be a couple. I don't like it. It's a weird feeling to have a person in the next room to you that you shared special things with and know that you cant do that anymore. Geeze I'm in a weird place right now....sigh!

Today was a pretty chill day. I went over the mountain to see Snoop! Tak joined us later. It was so good to see her (and Tak too!)....been almost a whole year!
We had a late lunch at a place called Chocolate....it was very tasty. I had the chicken mole...nice! Then we did some window shopping. I bought a hard cover for my ceramic knife and a pug bank!!
Then we popped over to the wharf and hung out listening to the seal...they were pretty active today. Tak joined us there and then...

So this weekend I had a mini trip. My brother got married. (well...they were really already married but this was the official wedding )
We drove to Fresno with all the dresses and suits in my car....a really scaring and important task! We arrived safely! Thanks God!
My brother met me at our hotel and we took all the wedding attire to his in-laws house. They were still up cooking food for the next day. The house smelled so good! Poor thing was up all night doing last minute things...

Well....i went!
I got there in time to grab a nice tri tip sammie...yummma! Took it over to the cooking demo area and got a front row seat to see Ted Allen. I must say he is a very funny guy! He made a pork tenderloin stuffed with goat cheese and roasted poblano chilies. Then he grilled it up...looked so good! (too bad we didnt get samples!). He also cooked a tandoori chicken breast...grilled. I will post the recipes when they put them up on the site.for the foodies! He did a small paring...

Today my brother, sister in law and 2 sisters came to visit. My brother got married 4 years ago in a very small ceremony and now they are going to do a big proper Vietnamese wedding. Today I came home from work and saw that my bf had created a tribe account. On this account it says single and all the dating blah....
So to give him the benefit of the doubt I created one to see if that stuff came up by default. I created 2 accounts and those are something you have to put in your bio yourself. Not default. He claims he didnt do it. Does anyone know if this is a default? I dont want to be a stupid girl.......sigh

Well....I must say the patch helps a lot with the craving for nicotine. The only thing I have a problem with is the habit of smoking.....no reason to take break now...hehe. I went to the gym today at lunch and did 30 minutes in the pool....straight laps. I feel great!!
Truthfully I cannot wait for that want to smoke feeling to go away...it pretty much sucks. It's sad to become so beholden to something that it becomes so ingrained in your daily life. But, I know I can do this. the key is...

Well....today was day one as a non-smoker. I've been here before and it will be tough for the next couple of weeks. I know I can do it! Next time I wont pretend I can be a part time smoker. :P
I also stopped at the gym...i will be spending my cigarette money on a gym membership! They have a lovely outdoor pool and the have lap swim during my lunch break! I am about a 5 minute walk away! So I will be doing laps at lunch and getting some nice rays! Such a positive thing to do with the smoke...
