So.. he sits next to me today. I felt so special when he pulled up a chair next to me and said "I wanna sit next to you. Maybe some of your brains will rub off on me" and he made a bowing motion.

I just smiled and I think I said 'awww'. He smiled at me and hung on my every word and kept touching my thigh randomly when he talked. :o

Ugghhhh... He's only 18. Sweet mother of Jeebus.

I don't know what it is about me but children, animals, elderly and mentally challenged people seem to be drawn to me.

So, I sit with two ladies and we talk about their work . I don't treat them like there is something wrong with them. We talk and laugh.

Well... this woman sees me taking my tray to dump and she says "Let me get that for you". I told her I had it and she told me she wanted to help so I don't drop it. She had a stupid ass grin on her face.....she thought I was retarded!

Andymillman is going to let me borrow his 'special ribbon' for work next time.

Halloween was fun. My son was a SWAT guy. We have a SWAT costume that was handed down to my son from someone who'd outgrown it plus a paintball gun and I wore an Emmit Smith Jersey and painted black under my eyes.

My neighbor and I joked I was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader ( auxiliary back-up alternate squad).

I put up pictures in my album. I generally don't put my son's pictures online in public because of personal security reasons but he's masked and I don't keep pictures up for long.

Today, my son went to a friends house and I most of the day to myself. Ahhhh...

I went to Red Bud Isle in Austin. It was so fun. Once you get used to the smell, it's perfect. It's a little island in the middle of a lake where dogs can run around off leash. It's wooded with trails and steps for the dogs to go into the water.

I have a Shar Pei and a Shiba Inu--- not water dogs but they got their feet wet. They refused to go in even when I threw treats in. I took a video of my dogs fighting with the water to get at the treat (unsuccessfully).

It was a gorgeous day. We we got back about an hour ago. The dogs are exhausted. I love Austin, TX. If I were to live in another Texas city, it would be Austin.

Now the day is coming to a close. I am going to type two papers I wrote Friday and surf the web.

This was a good weekend. :) Hope you enjoyed yours as well. I know Nomad did. :biglaugh:

I have the weekend off!! I need this so badly. My body is so tired from two jobs and four classes plus my son and dogs.

I have to remind myself its all worth it and it will pay off.

I am seriously considering moving back to VA next year. Right now I am just focusing on the day to day and remembering to write things in my planner.

Thursday I had a report on Chile due and I had completely forgotten. I think I set the world record for most pages of dribble that will still at least get me a B+ written within a few hours of it being due.

I finished my homework for Monday. Going to Wurstfest and trick or treating tomorrow. I don't feel like dressing up anymore. Maybe I will just paint whiskers on my face. My co worker said I should be Catwoman.....uhhh no.

There was a Halloween party at work. It was lame but the food was good. There was a strobe light at the entrance of the party. It made me really disoriented. Odd.

Scruffy ran away a few days ago. Haven't seen a trace of him :(

Maintenance required light is on. Oil change needed, I presume.

Old man came in to buy a gift for his wife of 46 years. He talked to me for 45 minutes and left empty handed. He was 82 or 81, he said he was both. he repeated stories twice to me, with different information with each story. He was nice. He told me 'everyone wants to give advice but do what YOU want to do. Don't let anyone persuade you otherwise. Do what you want to do in life"

I am home now in bed. I feel relaxed but my feet are cold. What a day.

I found him while walking my dogs. He was all tangled and matted with mud.He is definitely a stray. He nips and I am training him to walk on a leash. Scruffy doesn't seem to have had much positive human contact.

If you are in the San Antonio/Austin area, or know someone who'd like a little dog. PM me.

He weighs about 10 lbs, I am getting his shots and a shave and neuter.

I am no longer posting dogs on CL because it's too dangerous. Too many scammers.

These pictures are of Scruffy AFTER he was bathed. That's how bad his fur is. I will know what breed he is after his shave.

The last picture is of my dogs when I told them about Scruffy. :biglaugh:

Wandering around downtown SF, I went into a bookstore and was immediately drawn to a bright pink book with a cover that simply read "Fuck this Book"

It has been over a month and I still thumb through it and laugh out loud. The author compiled pictures where the word 'fuck' was in place of a verb on a public sign.

Example: a sign that reads 'Additional parking in the rear' would say 'Additional fucking in the rear'

As profound as my thoughts can be they can quickly find the humor in the crudest, silliest of things.

So here's one for Aznlovers:

Aznfucker.com
Social netfucking for Asian males and the women who fuck them :)

I was looking at the poll and how many people think of others and themselves worst of all as ugly.

Wow....

One thing I have noticed about myself, is that 'ugly' is a foreign concept to me when it comes to looks.

If I think someone is ugly, something within them that disgusts me is shining through, even if the majority of people see that person as gorgeous.

It is unbelievable but I look at people from the inside out. I do not know how I do it.

Not to say I don't find people unattractive. I find people who could be models unattractive the same as I find people who would not even be allowed onto a runway attractive.

I don't think of myself as ugly. I used to and I do get relapses of 'what the hell is up with my face?'

but how could I truly think I am ugly? I have to live with myself and it'd be a cruddy life to walk around with that attitude.

I know this does not hold true for everyone, I am speaking for myself. I tend to see beauty in places others don't and ugliness in places people don't bother to look.

Being attracted to someone doesn't make them beautiful and vice versa.

My scientific, medical geeky side comes out when I see people who have serious things wrong with the way they look. Good example, at my hospital job there was a cleaning lady who was quite over weight, limped, stringy matted hair, very stained teeth that were very crooked and she was a bit cross eyed.

She smiled at me and told me I looked nice. I smiled back, not thinking she was ugly but breaking down what medical conditions she may have based on her abnormalities.

I am more intrigued by people than anything else. I feel like an outsider looking in, not a part of the whole; an observer. That may explain a lot about me.

Good people do bad things. If someone does something or says something that makes you angry or hurt, think about their point of view in a rational manner before condemning them with a negative label.

Until the day we all become perfect beings, when Krispy Kreme donuts go calorie free, let's try to be civil and let people live. This is especially if their actions or thoughts have absolutely nothing to do with your day to day life.

I say and do some really fucked up things, I admit to it and own it. My goal, and what I think others should strive for, it to keep our fuckeduptedness to a tolerable level and be wary of how actions could make someone else feel. Empathize, be compassionate, have your own POV and try to see theirs.

Know your audience as well. If you are on a female dominated site, don't say blatant MYSOGYNISTIC THINGS with no reasoning. If you are one a site promoting Asian male image, why would you actively put down Asians or come off as a biotch?

It works two ways: trying to be mean and setting yourself up as a target to get picked on so you can look like a victim and gain support or just attention.

So my point is, keep your blinders and filters on. You will never be happy if you focus on only the negative aspects of people, and you will never be happy only being a negative person.

I am no modern day sage, and I don't claim to know everything. What I do know is that people are weird and unique, deserving at the very least respect. I also know in order to be respected you have to show some self respect.

There are some things I just can not believe to be true.

One being that you can orgasm through anal sex. I saw it on a video and I raised an eye brow.

Yes, you can have an orgasm during anal sex (receiving end) but I don't think it's because of the stimulation in that area. I think it's more psychological.

A lot of times, orgasms are psychological, as are lack of orgasm.

I am sure there will be at least one person who responds saying they or their partner has had an orgasm because of the stimulation during anal. I just can not believe it.

Why is this important?

It's not and you had just wasted approximately 2 minutes reading this.

I have noticed that when looking at pictures of people in a seemingly sexy pose, if one thing is off they look totally retarded.

Some people need to keep their mouth shut.

There are so many blogs, a lot of them are mine, about people opening their pie hole and spewing pure bullshit. Hot, putrid bad Indian food shit.

I am all for people voicing their opinions and saying what is in their heart for or against whatever.

Some people need to keep their mouth shut.

There are so many blogs, a lot of them are mine, about people opening their pie hole and spewing pure bullshit. Hot, putrid bad Indian food shit.

I am all for people voicing their opinions and saying what is in their heart for or against whatever.

But come on, have some decency about it. If you don't like Muslims, you can say that in a way that sounds at least some what intelligent.

"The Muslim faith is full of contradictions and hate."

There, you have expressed an opinion in a coherent sentence voicing your opinion.

"I hate sand niggers"

Not okay. See the difference?

I am embarrassed as an citizen of the United States when I see people on TV saying ignorant things like this.

I am curious where people get their sources of information. Perhaps the source was legitimate but the people did not understand or created a conclusion in an alternate parallel universe where gnomes rule the world and everything is made out of candy.

I don't know. I say some really crazy things but I have logic behind it which makes it at least debatable.

"Illegals are stealing all the jobs. Close the border and don't let those beaners in!"

See, this makes no sense.

If any border should be closed it should be our neighbors up North. Oh that didn't feel so good did it?

Let's not forget irrelevant statistics.

"Black people commit 800% of the crime in the United States"

"Over 75% of the population is obese and it causes a strain on everything. That's why food prices and health care prices are so high"

"Minorities are incompetent that's why White people own everything"

You notice how people pull statistics out of their asses when they want to prove a point that solves absolutely nothing?

It's like spilling milk and then running to tell the nighbors 100% of your glass of milk is on the floor.

WTF? Do something about it, ignore it or shut the fuck up.

I am quite apathetic. It helps me sleep at night and maintain the little self esteem I do have.

Just remember, if you have a cause or gripe: Form arguments or at least sentences that make logical sense, don't use statistics, don't bring up problems that you aren't doing shit about, and make sure your audience has the potential to give a damn about the opinion you have.

Biting your tongue is not being a coward. It's prevention for making yourself look like a dumb ass or a jerk.

I'm just saying.
