Face to Face - Heart to HeartDiscussions and planning on real-life meet-ups and get-togethers held throughout the world.
No, that's not for another few weeks after. Next week is the Cinequest Movie Festival.
I'll start researching alternatives, in case of rain, because I'm also getting over a nasty cold. Although, one possibility is the Imperial Spa, a Korean style bath house
I love the spa/ bath house idea!!! that sounds too fun!
"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination."-- Albert Einstein"
"Forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit."
(Perhaps someday it will please us to remember even these things)
"Creative minds have always been known to survive any kind of bad training." -- Anna Freud
I don't remember if I've ever seen the parade live ... perhaps as a little kid.
If I'm bothering to visit SF that day and risk being around sick folks, I'll go to the parade regardless of the rain. (I'll dose up on Airborne beforehand.. heheheh)
I vote yay. I'll be there for dim sum, then I've got to meet with a friend in the middle of the day, so I may drop back in later in the day as well. Forecast says "may rain." As a plan-B in case rain is too unbearable to make it over to sum-dim, we can just walk underground at the Cable Car turnaround, then pop up at the Westfield mall to eat their excellent food court.
Imperial spa is great place -- they have more features for women than men, but still good. It's not co-ed though, so don't get your hopes up about seeing anyone's *honk-honk* or *whooo-whooo.*
Let's meet for sure for Dim Sum and if it looks like rain, no big deal, we can just go to the Exploratorium like Crys suggested! That sounds so fun.
Sheesh, since when does a lil rain ruin the day? I love rain!
Also, I prefer not to put it off a week cause we have plans next weekend.
