Alright!! It's a go! I'll be there at noon waiting for all my friends for Dim sum, parade and tea bar and whatever the mood leads. I've never been to this particular Yank Sing, so am not familiar with the parking nearby, there are a bunch of garages though -- just not city-owned ones so you'll pay whatever they want to charge for the day. The parade runs north of Market except for this one stretch on Market between 2nd and 3rd (map below); the restaurant is South of Market -- street closures won't happen that early anyway. If you Caltrain it, it's a 15 minute walk from the 2nd/King station. If you can get to a BART station, the Montgomery exit is 1/2 block from the restaurant. (Montgomery BART is 2nd/Market, Yank Sing is between 1st and 2nd on Stevenson -- which is an alley between Market ad Mission).

The Caltrain station is at 4th Street, between Townsend and King. It is not on 2nd Street. It is about a fifteen minute walk.
If you don't want to walk, take the 30 Stockton or the 45 Union to get from Caltrain to Market Street (it runs up 3rd Street). Or cab it if there's a bunch of you.

Forti's not going to Powell/Market to meet us, so the best stop for him is 2nd/King (the end of the line) after 4th/King.
