Everyone feel free to throw out ideas for what they want to do.

I was thinking we could meet up at a place to eat nearby, and then go to the festival. But since it is a festival, there should be lots of food booths. Rather than fill our bellies before, I think just eating throughout the day would be good. Then perhaps if we haven't stuffed ourselves like fools, perhaps get dinner together.

Also, Old Sac is supposed to be a good place for bar hopping.

Any thoughts?

There are some ok bars there... often live music is playing on the weekends. One of the best places to go dancing is in the Downtown area as well. It's got 3 separate rooms that DJs 3 different types of music, each with their own bars and a straight up piano bar as well as an outdoor bar and patio. Of course it's supposed to be a gay club, but they don't hold that against all the straight people who go, LOL

A really fun thing to do in Old Sac is Suspects: Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. It's popular, but if we look into it far enough in advance we can probably get tickets for dinner and they DO serve alcohol There are some decent comedy clubs in the area as well that we can look into. Sac is my home town baby... I know all the ins and outs and I miss it!!

..........May 18th is Mother's Day. I just realized that.

Don't know what the plans are for that day. Usually it's just dinner, but I can't say for certain it's going to be that way again this year. Going to have to see if anyone has plans...

I have good news and bad news. The good news is I love my mother and she lives 5 minutes from me. The bad news is, Mother's day is on the 18th.

It wouldn't have mattered for me, my mom is over 3k miles away. But I think the festival would have been lonely by myself
