Great! I'm thrilled that you're game. You're just a bit more spontaneous than I. I am still in the "who's interested" phase of planning. Once I have a handful of people up to it, I'd like to start looking at what date works for everyone. And right now I need some ladies. One of my guy friends is interested, so if we get a lady or 2, that would seem to round things out nicely.
Or I could just try to plan with you, my friend, and myself.

My favorite is definitely the Verve Remixed 2. The DJ Spinna remix of 'Naima's Love Song' is unbelievable. And the remix of 'Black Is The Color Of My True Love's Hair' is great too.
I just saw that they released vol. 4, with a remix of 'California Soul' on it. I'm skeptical, because the original is pretty rocking, but they haven't let me down yet!
I've been hoping a Volume 4 would be coming out, and am ecstatic that it did. I may have to treat myself for my recent birthday. But wait, I already did. (I got Billy Eckstine and "Pinky and the Brain.") Hmmm... Maybe for Xmas.
I don't know which song is my favorite. There all so good. There are definitely some I would pass on, but the majority all count as my favorite songs. I am partial to "Whatever Lola Wants" and "Peter Gunn" (I think.)

I adore Jazz! Verve Remixed, Cafe Del Mar, Sinatra, Diana Krall, Billy Holiday, Etta Fitzgerald etc. What a great way to spend an evening Jazz & Cocktails!!!
