hmm maybe. i'd have to see my work schedule around that time (may or may not have vacation days saved). I live about 3 hrs drive from Dallas. Where is the Asian Film Festival gonna be? I've only been to like...the Galleria and the area where the Korean market and stuff is (Royal??) hehe so i dunno

So, more info for the meet!

I've spoken with the organizers for the AFFD 2009 and they are willing to extend to us a discount based on how many people are in attendance!! I would appreciate anyone who is confirmed to join us to PM me personally so I may keep a list going and no one is left out!

As it stands, without a discount (thus our prices would be lower):
-Single Movie Screening $9.00
-Opening, Centerpiece, Closing tickets - TBD to more than $15 (includes after party/reception)
-All Access VIP Passes $125; or $75 advanced purchase (date to be announced)

There will be around 30 movies total offered (more may be added) for the 6 day event, and most likely we will be attending the Centerpiece movie and reception in addition to any other screenings we catch.

In other news, the housing situation on my end will be drastically different than when I set out to plan this meet. Part of my new community is a fantastic and fabulous set of resident pools to used, so perhaps if anyone is interested we could have pool party on Saturday as well.... or go to the lake which is just down the street from me. Fair warning, I live around 30 miles from Dallas where the film festival is to take place. I will not be offended if anyone is unwilling or unable to come out. Just an idea.

Please let me know what everyone thinks, I'll get to working on any questions or concerns. I am right now working on finding hotel accommodations for those flying in from out of town.
