I'm working on a short Youtube documentary on interracial sexual/romantic relations between Asian men and non-Asian women. I need folks to interview (below are the questions I would ask). 1) How and why did you become interested in Asian guys/non-Asian girls? Was there any particular reason you developed an attraction to them, or was ethnicity not a factor? What differences (if any) have you noticed between Asians and non-Asians as sexual/romantic partners?
2) Tell me about the xxxperiences (parents, friends, relationships, breakups, etc) that have shaped your view of men/women. Like any positive or negative feelings you have about the opposite sex, how did you develop those feelings? And how much is race a part of these feelings and views?
3) In your view, is there an ideal sexual or romantic lifestyle? Do you think marriage or monogamy is important? Why or why not?
4) How do you feel about meeting people on the internet? Do you think the web is an appropriate place to find potential partners? What are some advantages vs. disadvantages of internet relations vs. "real-life" relations?
5) Would you say your xxxperiences with the opposite sex, asian or not, have been influenced by the media? Do you think commercial depictions of people have affected what you're attracted to?
