quiet a bit of the description sopunds like my ex, he also sees himself as a good guy, and has actually used the insult "You are a difficult person, and only *I* can ever truly love you, so be thankful I'm here."
plays the marytr, and complains im using him all the time
i told him i want a divorce and space from him, so im hardly twisting his arm behind his back to help with my weekly food shop, ect...
insists i make the choices, and gets upset with me... i dont want to make choices for him, nor am i his personal entitaner, as his other complaint was how boring life was with me since we meet, well what did expect from a shy recluse

well not so much a bitch as indepent thinking man that is capable of having fun and being happy by themselfs aswelll as with others lol
a man that knows his own mind even when i disagree, stays clam even when upset and has a sense of humour, has my respect and trust

anyway... the last part sums it up nicely... what ever you want to call it...

This ultimately boils down to the fact that Nice Guys don't like themselves. Is it any wonder women don't like them? In order to truly love someone else, you must first love yourself. Too often Nice Guys mistake obsession for "love".

Get this Guys: INSECURITY ISN'T SEXY. IT'S A TURNOFF.

You don't have to be an ego-inflated, arrogant jerk. You just have to LIKE yourself. You have to know what you want out of life, and go after it. Only then will you be attractive to the kind of woman with whom a long-term relationship is possible.

But very frankly... I see this all the time... both girls and boys... fall all over for the attention... but in the end they get a rude awakening...

Be direct, honest, open and considerate... most of all... be respectful... it has nothing to do with being nice or an ass... it's about being human...
