Reminds me of my ex, who also used to be my best friend. Sometimes I miss the friendship (definitely not the relationship) and I guess this song makes me feel okay about that. I'm not the only person feeling that way because it's in a song - so it means it's a normal human emotion and there is nothing wrong in my head. I'm not going to go running back to him, but he was a part of me and my life and on occasion I think of him.

Recently it reminds me of a guy I had the pleasure of spending some time with recently. But since we live far apart, a relationship is out of the question. A lot of this song speaks of what I'm going through right now.

It may not be a love song by other standards but it resonates with me.
I had a chance with someone that I was so smitten with and I blew it b/c I didn't know how to handle it--as well as knowing that she felt the same way about me. I still regret it to this day. More importantly it reminds me that I can't change anything about it now, and I have to move on.
