I was flipping through the channels and caught the last 5 minutes of a TV show called "Battle of the Bods."

There were two white guys and an Asian guy in their underwear and also a white girl hosting the show. One white guy was muscular and tall. The other white guy was tall and skinny. The Asian guy was the shortest one, but he was muscular.

In another room, four white girls and a black girl were looking at the guys on a TV screen. One white girl said, "I'm not into Asians, but he's cute!"

Almost simultaneously, two other white girls said something. One said, "But he's ripped!" Another said, "But he's Asian," as if to say that Asian guys are short in general. The black girl looked at the last white girl because she knew the comment wasn't politically correct, but she didn't give a mean look or anything. The black girl was sort of laughing actually.

Meanwhile, the guys were arranging themselves in the order in which the girls would rate them. The tall, muscular white guy stood first in line, the Asian guy stood in the middle, and the skinny white guy stood last in line. That's exactly how the girls rated them too. The girls were kinda mean and said the skinny guy was too skinny and goofy-looking.

reminds me of an Asian friend who's a really good debater. Went to the UK to represent in an international tournament, told me he has to be better than the white folk to prove himself. He beat their asses and got first place.

Thanks for the recap BNK. I knew about this episode with the asian guy. (it premiered during the Superbowl). So, I wasn't able to watch it but wanted to know how the girls rank the guys.

There has been a couple of asian girls on the show too. When the girls are putting themselves in the rankings, the white and black girls tend to rank the asian girl lower than they really should be. The asian girls usually don't protest. Little do they know, the guys rank the asian girls high. In one episode, the girls put the asian girl at #4, the black girl at #5 (there are only 5 girls). And then the guys rank the asian girl #1.

In this episode, the Asian girl Jessica - an "inspector for international human rights," bragged that she would get #1 because she was the most "exotic."

Too bad the red-blooded guys downgraded her for her hawk nose.

Jessica finished near the bottom. The winner was the curvy brunette.

The asian girl Jessica appears too polished and sophisticated for the guys who were judging. I could tell by these bum-looking skater boys, they'd rather go for the gangsta-hoochie mama types.

So my theory on beauty remains... "how good you look depends on who's looking."

When Jessica said she would be #1 because of her 'exotic' looks, I kinda felt like she was joking and using that statement as a way to mock guys. (notice the chuckle). I bet she gets that alllll the time.
