:) RECAP of July 12th SF Bay Area meet (and Thanks!)
First off, I want to say THANK-YOU to all the great peeps who came out and joined us this weekend. You were all awesome and I hope to see you again soon! We'll have to get Crys and Jenner to plan a smaller lunch meet sometime soon. I'm retired for a while. heehee
Now, here's a recap of the weekend events!
Saturday
Morning - I woke up early (I am NOT a morning person) so that I make sure the girls were ready, pick up the delish cake and get to Gyros Gyros to make sure we'd have a space large enough for our party at lunch. Turns out, Crys and Echo were already in their morning routine so I went back to sleep for 20 minutes. haha
Mid-morning - Lunch was great. The restaurant was very accomodating and the servers were so nice, they even kept our cake in their fridge so it wouldn't spoil while we walked around. The food was good and the ordering was easy for a group cause you paid at the register individually when you ordered and then they brought you the food when it was done... they were pretty quick too! Cry's chicken was my favorite!
Afternoon - We cont. on to Red Mango and had some of the BEST frozen yogurt in the world. We were a lil sad Yul Kwon wasn't there but we have so many fond memories of him from before, it's ok. We still love the yogurt!
Stanford Shopping Plaza was nice. The weather was perfect for leisurely walking and talking. The shops were outstanding but mostly too EXPENSIVE! HAha. I'd like to go back there one day when I win the lottery!

Mid-afternoon and evening - MALIBU GRAND PRIX turned out to be awesome! The lunch and party area portion was a lil disorganized but as soon as the staff gave us the token and game tickets we added on to the party package... we were out! We raced the speed car tracks, soaked each other with the water gun bumper boats, and played mini-golf! I wanted to do the batting cages but we simply ran out of energy and left at 10pm after some arcade games. We grabbed In-N-Out burger for dinner after a long debate on whether we were in the mood for a restaurant and drinks or not. It was a not! lol

Late-night - Aman's Condo was set-up with snacks and sleeping quarters for our planned AL girl slumber party but instead (as always) it became our home base because we didn't have the energy for clubbing. We had a fun fun night playing 03Elle's game Apples to Apples while we drank, chatted, drank, and was just generally loud and obnoxious! Glad we have cool neighbors!!! I'm seriously going to have to get them a cool gift!

Late-morning - Honestly, after staying awake and drinking until 5am, I'm surprised we got up and out and made it to lunch in Oakland on time! At this point, I felt kinda sorry for the guys cause it was only Aman and my Japanese friend Felix with 6 AL girls!! Poor guys... Luckily, some more peeps showed up as we were leaving and so we continued on to Robert Mondavi winery in Napa.

Afternoon - after combining cars and picking designated drivers, we arrived at Mondavi in one piece! We had a lovely day with a private tour of their vineyards, cellar and of course, some wine tasting! The presentation and guide were great and we had some educated ALer's who ask lot's of questions. Maybe we should make our own AznLover brand wine? heehee

Late-afternoon - When we were done with Mondavi, we visited YourHime's family estate which was nearby. Her dad is a hobby wine maker and was GREAT enough to give us all bottles of his special blends... which are named after his lil girls.

Evening - the day flew by and before we knew it, we were starving so we headed to downtown Napa for dinner. It was a nice evening and we had great company for our eats at Tuscany restaurant. We were all worn out by this time however so we said our farewells and went home... to nap off the wine tasting!
