is anyone doing any genetic or environmental studies to see if there is any kind of susceptability to autism when vacinated (and accounting for the age of the recipent)?
Healthcare professionals take that route, because of the pattern that they've recognized among their own clients.
In the first and only lawsuit that was paid off for millions, there was an enzyme deficiency that was contraindicated for the type of innoculations, and caused Autism.
"Some kids piss their name in the snow. Chuck Norris can piss his name into concrete."
I can't seem to find anything out there on this. Do you have a link or website I could check?
As much talk as there is on vaccines and autism nowadays, there really hasn't been a definite link found. There is a lot of evidence that works against the idea, the most obvious being that since thimerosal (the preservative people like to cite for autism) has been removed from all vaccines but the flu shot in 2001, the reports of autism are holding steady, even increasing. That alone should tell you something without having to dig deeper and find a host of other untruths surrounding the vaccine link debate.
We'd all like for there to be a cause and way to stop this apparent "epidemic" but it's likely that it's not that easy. What we have is desperate parents and lawyers out for money, with little study and hard to find solid evidence.
The most sensible thing I think a parent could do is stop all this vaccine yelling and try to help their child in safe, practical ways.

Thanks for the link but I don't really get why you sent it...
All I see is the case of a girl who had something like autism, that may have been caused by thiomersal.
I haven't really done any other digging yet to get the full story (I just read that) but so far this doesn't seem like proof either way. She had an unrelated disorder that had autistic like symptoms.
Um why is this listed as a comment on that page btw? Or is that just my crazy school comp...?
Oh! Is this this "study" i was looking for? Or am I being slow again??

It refers to the huge lawsuit involving the child who had an enzyme deficiency.
It was the landmark case for autism cases in the future, the first one to be won in a court of law.
Most of the healthcare links are only accessible to those who have legitimate access to them, and it would be an offense to post them elsewhere.

mmmm ok. But it doesn't seem to really have much to do with autism. Sure she had "autistic like" symptoms but do they really know if those are autism or her disorder?
Eh, either way this was interesting ( I had heard about the case but had not read anything yet). Thanks.
