liella, with the very little you have shared with me and others in chat, i can sort of see why you had some troubles that would have caused so much pain. it is a good thing you never died. you have enough to do in your life and need to just live it. i think, so far (since i do not know you), you seem like a person who does not deserve to have to think about killing yourself. i am being very direct, sorry.

i do not find it is too easy for some. i appreciate the fact that some of the people who do commit or attempt to commit do think of others and they try not to find the most outrageous ways of doing it. if anything, keep it short and sweet and just do it if it is that bad, in some cases----like i mentioned before. i truly believe that some people should just die and not try anymore, either with life or attempting to commit suicide. they are stuck in a no where valley and they may not be able to do anything for themselves...i really do not know. i feel that some of those people are a heavy drain and are far too miserable to even exist and be in their perpetual state. some of them only get worse and worse and never get better no matter what is done to help them or such. and like i stated before, i would kill a person like that if i could, but, i can't. not in a way of assisting suicide, as in killing and ending it all for that person (and the rest of us). many people think they are all alone in their depressing miserable lives and have no clue or idea that other people actually support them and want them to be better or hope for such things. they do not realize that some people in their lives actually have minds, feelings, thoughts of their own. it is always ONLY about them and everyone should or needs to cater to them in order for them to just be in a "normal" state of misery. i only say all this about the worst cases of people---not all depressed people deserve to suffer or die.

Japan is basically tons of people living in a small area, everything is cramped and there is little space. I think it's not that unusual to have a lot of psychological problems emerging from that. Especially when there are expectations for everyone to behave in a certain way.

Well the dense population combined with the conformist culture is a big part of it. But they also have a fatalistic culture which looks at suicide as an honorable way of atonement. That last point is somewhat unique to Japan or at least has not yet been exorcised by modernity as in other nations which also may have had such a tradition in their past.

You don't need to apologize, since now I see it the same way. However, I used to be just like these (selfish) people you mentioned below, so this is where I am coming from.
Well, as said before, my opinion is a different one, but this is okay.

Lade_Fate:
of course, your opinion counts as any one's does. i agree that some of the people are selfish in their attempts to try to commit and execute suicide. but, i am just too bitter now and jaded that i don't care about all and everyone. but, i do make distinctions between some.
