I remember in the mid 90s Jackson was known to get Asian kung fu and action flicks from the 43rd Chamber in NYC (43rd and 8th) (long since closed), never saw him there though, it was owned by a guy named Shah, he packed up and left in hurry supposedly because the Feds didn't like him selling bootlegs.

Satisfied? You know, I really hope so because God knows you need some satisfaction in life besides shagging Captain Cardboard and I never really liked you anyway and... and you have stupid hair. Spike

lots of good films in there. hardboiled still remains one of my all time fav john woo films. gotta love infernal affairs (1 & 2) audition and oldboy as well.

what i like from his list:
* Old Boy
* City On Fire
* Infernal Affairs 1 and 2 (3 sucked!)
* Ong Bak
* Hardboiled
* Hero

the others i either haven't seen or don't like. if you like Old Boy though, you might like Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.

He has good taste in Asian movies. My taste are pretty similar to his.

Favs include IA trilogy, Oldboy, Hero.

Audition was waaay too violent and disgusting for me though.

I really liked Infernal Affairs 1 but I think as awesome as it was, nobody beats Hard-Boiled. The sheer masculinity of Chow Yun Fat in that movie was phenomenal. It's a must-see for XF's

actually my favorite character from that movie is Mad Dog (played by Phillip Kwok aka Kuo Chui) he was an honorable gangster, he only wanted to kill cops and wankstas, but didn't want to harm innocent bystanders like those hospital patients. Of course Kuo Chui is well known as one of the 5 Venoms.
