East Coast? It will depend. If you're in Toronto, I believe your local CBC station will air it live-- starting at 7am ET Friday (wait-- I see a "pre-show" listing starting at 5:45am ET).

In the lower 48, NBC East Coast affiliates will air it, tape-delayed, starting at 7:30pm ET, to get the prime time dollars. Come to think of it, in the lower 48, it'll air tape delayed everywhere starting at 7:30pm local time.

I have a feeling NBC will be more biased in showing the events in which the US are in and are going to win. Anyway, I wish the best of luck for Liu Xiang and Yao Ming.

The ceremony starts at 2.00 pm german time. Lucky me, I don't have to get up early or stay up late for it.
They are planning a great show I have heard.
