Can't wait!
Looks like Usain Bolt the Jamaican might take this.
On another note Tsukahara Naoki, is the only non-black person in the semi finals, way to represent! I've always said asians are good sprinters, ts only a matter of time before we close the gap more and more, though it will never be closed fully.

And the lightening Jamaican did make history. I wish he didn't start the celebration early - he could have shaved another 0.1 second off his new record.
9.69 .... unbelievable. I still remember the whole Carl Lewis and Ben Johnson thing live in Seoul when I was a kid (and I watched it live in the stadium).
At the time Lewis had the record and Ben Johnson came and ran 9.83 (sadly he was juicing).

Yeah, it seemed like he slowed down before the finish line! I like his gold shoes.
I watched the final and I must say that Bolt is clearly a freak - he was plainly toying with the rest of the field, which was supposed to be made up of the fastest sprinters ever in an Olympic final, and he still managed to set a new record. And you just have to love the guy's nonchalant, irreverent attitude toward the whole thing: he didn't care about setting the fastest time possible and was instead more concerned about winning with style in front of the camera. I sincerely hope we don't find out later that Bolt was pumped full of drugs.
