Soooo... I'm not exactly one who is shy about anything. And part of it is because I really like messing with the people behind the counter. Once upon a time, quite a few years ago ... my roomies and I used to go to the grocery store and concoct odd grocery lists just to mess with the cashiers.

A good example of our purchases would be a really large cucumber, some kind of lube, duct tape and something completely harmless like gum. It never got old.

LOL That's awesome! I'll never forget the day some guy came through my checkout line at about 10 pm, dragging a blow up sheep on a leash, and buying strawberries, wine, Hershey Kisses, and a blue tarp.

Usually I just look down and not make eye contact when I have to buy those anti-itching cream for my itching nuts. I have very dry skin and it sometimes itches like a mofo.

what has been embarrassing for me lately is having a shit load in my shopping cart at the grocery stores. lol. i always have someone stuck behind me that should go first, but by the time they had gotten into line it was too late for me to offer that to them. then, there are two people behind me, then three...and so on. they all stare at you like they want to bulldoze you and kill you. lol i hate it so much, but, i am not going to make several shopping trips to make everyone feel better and not glare at me with their evil eyes. all the personal hygiene products usually do not embarrass me anymore. i do not like buying men's or boy's underwear either. i think for me, since i am not in a long term relationship or marriage, i have not worked that out, even if i did have to sell men's underwear before (thank god they were in a box). plus, when you have to sell them, it is completely different. you can actually move into a mode where it does not matter. i think for me, it would be the most embarrassed if i had to sell some calvin klein's to a man who is over 70. enemas are embarrassing. lol. i had to buy two once when i had to have a surgery done. thank god i went to the store very early in the morning, hardly anyone was there (basically just the people who work there). those kinds of products are a bit embarrassing. all in all, it is no one's business what you will be doing with any of those things, but, you know what people could be thinking because you thought of it when you saw someone else buying it..... maybe, depending on the person.
