In feminist circles, this is always a heated debate.
Why should women be responsible for men's well-being?
Answer is easy: because most of them have been taught to take care of others and not themselves!
Men are learning more and more to take good care of themselves and that includes eating right. But let's face it, most of them will eat whatever crap they come across if no food is set before them.
And if you want your man to be healthy, you have to take matters into your own hands and feed the bastard!!

I (as most women I'm sure) could not sit by and think: "let him eat whatever he wants, it's his health, he's an adult".
I may have Italian genes somewhere because for me, loving is feeding!

And seriously, it is not that much work... if I pack my lunch, how hard is it to make a second one?

I agree with Aussie. If I was a stay-at-home wifey, I would love to make my hubby's lunch everyday (if he wanted it). But if I'm working full-time and going to the gym before work, I barely have time to make my own lunch, much less his. He'd probably have to make do by himself if I had to work.

Of course! I always make Thak's lunch. Of course, we generally try to live close enough to post that he can come home for lunch, but when he's not able to, then yeah, I make his lunch to take with him. It's not hard or anything...

As long as he makes me soup when I'm sick. It's all about reciprocity.

If he doesn't mind me packing leftovers as his lunch... I cook anyway, and I pack leftovers for me so... that or salad. I wouldn't be getting up at 5am just to make him another whole meal, but yeah I make sure he's fed and it's healthy.
As long as my man takes out the trash.

I want to. But he wants a meal that is really HOT. He would rather have a hot fast food dish than a home made dish that is just warm, or luke warm.
Preparing Lunch could mean saving so much money too and is much healthier.

Totally! I'd be more than happy to do something like that for the person that I love.

Mmmm that would be so good! Thak makes good Tom Yum soup, but no time recently. It would be so cool if he made me that whenever I get sick. I should figure out a way to work that deal out.
