I've only recently learned the differences between the three. Apparently dorks are generally socially inept, like Napoleon Dynamite. Geeks are the ones who are obsessed, and possibly excelled, in a narrow subject, e.g., Computer geeks, top Guitar Heros, trekkies. Nerds are those with a broad intellectual curiosity. They are intrigued by everything scientific, logical, or at least reasonable. Richard Feynman, and arguably Albert Einstein, fall into this category.
And of course there are the rest who are too cool to be any one of them.

I'm closest to being a geek. But my friends refer to me as closet-geek, because I don't look anything like them. I'm very athletic and active and am always involved in competitive sports, which most geeks don't. Love movies, comics, and animation. Everyone in my profession falls into this category.
I can be a dork, nerd or jock, but the defining characteristic is nerd. I can hardly conceal the nerdiness in a closet but fortunately I have a job where I can pen down equations and write technical white papers all day.
After the nerdiness is vented out, being a jock+dork can be fun too. This is one thing I learned from a British friend - the jock+dork combo is a deadly weapon. He's a self-professed "English metrosexual" - blazer, button down with cuff link, dress pants. Every day. His most powerful pickup line is an innocent, if not dorky, "Hello, how is it keeping? I'm Mahkus". You can almost hear the wall in the girl's heart cracking.
I think I use dork most of all. Rolls off the tongue easier.
