i threw a party last night and was playing music. the song i saw that everybody got really into when we were playing beer pong was come together by the Beatles.. what other songs have you notice that will get people attentions?
How about songs made especially for drinking? Swedes have a long tradition about it. Bellman wrote drinking songs hundreds of years ago. Cornelis Wreesvrijk sang many of them and was popular in Sweden.
Swedes and especially Swedish-speaking Finns do a lot of "sittningar" where you eat, hold speeches, sing and drink, eat, hold speeches, sing and drink etc. You get the picture
Anything that has a fast beat and bass, like most club anthems and some top 40 stuff usually does the trick, since it is a PARTY or a pre-drink before hitting the clubs/bars to PARTY.....
I like to get people Amp'd up and ready to have an unforgettable night of drunken debauchery and good times, a true "Shit-Show" as they say.....haha
